  1. Take a large bowl, add all purpose flour,carom seeds and mix with salt and oil.Add little water at a time and knead a soft dough. Cover with a muslin cloth and keep it aside.
  2. Drain the soaked moong dal.Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, red chilli powder,turmeric, coriander powder, fennel seeds, coriander seeds and saute all the spices for few minutes. Now add besan roast it on medium flame until it's colour changed now add soaked dal, both salt, garam masala, ginger,amchur powder,kasuri methi, black pepper crushed.
  3. Stir constantly and cook dal until it dries up. Allow it to cool and keep it.Divide in 12 equal portions and make balls.Now take one dough ball and flatten it with the help of your fingers.
  4. Fill it with dal stuffing balls and seal the ends tightly and remove excess dough.Repeat the process with other dough balls. Pre-heat oil in a deep fry pan and fry on low flame till it turns golden brown. served with green coriander chutney or sweet chutney.
