- Preparation for green chutney
- 1 bowl Coriander
- 1tbsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 pinch salt (as per taste)
- Tamarind/ Immli chutney
- 50 g tamarind pulp
- 50 g jaggery/ guud
- 1tbsp ginger powder
- as per taste Salt
- 1tbsp Red chili powder
- For Dal preparation
Steps to make to make Sindhi Special Dal Pakwan
- Wash chana Dal put in cooker add water as per dal soaked upto 1/4 up add salt as per taste, turmeric powder half teaspoon,2-3 green chillies pack the cooker with lid and whistles 2- 3 then put off the gas
- For dal tadka take small pan heat 2 tbsp of oil put jeera,curry leaves,hing and amchur Powder give thaka to dal and garnish with fresh coriander leaves
- For pakwan
Take Maida for making dough in dough bowl put 1- 2 teaspoon 🥄 of salt as per taste 1/4 teaspoon 🥄 of Ajwain 2tbsp of oil mix it add water as per dough knead a dough as per chapati dough keep 5 min for rest dough aside - After 5 min make small bolls of maida dough and make pakwan by rolling bolls as like chapati after rolling press with fork or make tiny holes for making pakwan otherwise it will be fluffy like puri after frying
Note : (you have to make tiny holes by fork all over the pakwan after rolling and then fry indeep fry until golden brown)
- For Green chutney
Take washed Coriander 2-3 chillies salt as per taste, jeera,small pinch of sugar put all this in mixer jar add little water and churn it fresh green chutney is ready - Preparation of Tamarind or Imli chutney
Take washed Tamarind in stainless bowl add water half cup then add jaggery gud and ginger powder boil this for 5 min
After cooling mix in mixy jar take it in bowl add salt as per taste and red chilli powder
Our Imli chutney is ready - Serve hot Dal Pakwan with green chutney Imli chuttney and with chopped onion and coriander
