  15. 1 red dry chilli
  16. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  17. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  18. 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  19. 1/4 tsp chat masala
  20. 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  21. 1/2 cup Fresh Mint leaves/ coriander leaves chopped
  22. 1 tbsp oil
  23. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  24. 5-6 methi seeds
  25. Turmeric powder
  26. Salt

Instructions to make to make Aloo ki litti

  1. To make dough: Mix well all the ingredients to make the dough. Rub the flour well in between your palms for 2-3 minutes to incorporate the oil or ghee well win the flour. Now, add little water and knead well to make a dough neither too soft nor too hard, keep it aside for 15 minutes. I have used 1/2 cup water approximately for kneading.
    Divide into 10 equal size balls.
  2. Heat oil in a kadahi. Add red dry chilli, cumin and methi seeds, let it splatter. Add chopped potatoes and cauliflower florets. Cook covered for 4-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. Remove the lid. Add salt, turmeric powder, ginger, green chilli and peas. Mix well. Saute and fry for another 4-5 minutes till vegetables are completely cooked. Mash a little with the spoon and sprinkle all spices, lemon juice and pour chopped coriander leaves/mint leaves. Mix well and take out in a plate and let it cool.
  4. Fill the aloo masala prepare into dough balls. Heat oil in a kadahi and start frying in batches. Keep the flame on low to medium heat. Serve hot with green pudina/ dhaniya chutney.
